Casey Brantley, MD, joins Lifeline board of directors

August 8, 2023

Casey Brantley, MD, has joined the board of directors for Lifeline Recovery Center, a residential treatment program for substance abuse.

Brantley has been an emergency physician since 2011 at Mercy Health Paducah, where he serves as assistant medical director. He has served on boards for the United Way and Hope for Orphans USA, as well as a church cabinet member and middle-school Sunday school teacher at Heartland Church.

“Given his experience in emergency medicine, Casey has seen firsthand the damaging effects of addiction,” said board chair Steve Powless, “and we are grateful he is willing to serve on our board to help Lifeline meet our mission of recovery.”

Lifeline Recovery Center is a long-term residential recovery program for those dealing with drug and alcohol addictions, treating about 200 people each year at separate men’s and women’s campuses. The Lifeline board includes other community volunteers: David Bailey; the Rev. Dr. Bernice Belt; Carla Berry, Missy Eckenberg; Terry Haas; Robert L. Hill; Kenny Hunt; Bonnie Schrock; Todd Trimble and Mike Zimmerman; as well as executive director Ashley Miller.
