Lifeline executive director elected to board of directors

September 25, 2024

Executive director Ashley Miller has been elected to the board of directors for Lifeline Recovery Center, a residential treatment program for substance abuse.

Miller, herself a graduate of the program, has served as the executive director four years, during which the organization acquired property to expand the men’s and women’s campuses. “Ashley’s ascent – from a courageous client battling addiction to executive director – has been nothing short of miraculous,” said board chair Steve Powless. “Her story is one of perseverance, grit and an unshakeable commitment to serving others and restoring her family.”

As board chair, Powless said he has worked closely with Miller and observed her “remarkable evolution as a leader,” accomplishing what many would consider impossible.
