Learn more about how Lifeline Recovery Center has transformed lives.
I entered Lifeline Recovery Center in January 2021 and graduated in October. Deep down, I knew I needed Christ in my life, but I blamed God for everything I had gone through. My faith and sobriety have given me a new outlook on life. I always wanted to be alone and push everyone away. Now I love being involved and making a stand for recovery. I give back because if I hadn’t come here, I don’t think I would be alive.
Lisa, a legal secretary from Murray, graduated from the program in 2015. When husband Adam, a carpenter, saw the change in her, he completed it in 2016. After a lifelong addiction to drugs, they say Lifeline restored their lives and their marriage. “Lifeline changed our lives forever,” Lisa said. “Not only did they help us break the chains of addiction, they have given us a forever family. We are truly blessed.”
I am so thankful for the staff at Lifeline and the true compassion and love they have for not only us but for the Lord. I'm very thankful for the teachers and pastors who donate their time and resources to us. They help us build the foundation and relationship with Jesus Christ that is so important for all of us, but especially those of us in recovery.
On January 5th, 2016, I checked into Lifeline on what I thought was my own free will. It turns out, it was God's will. The most important thing is that while I was there I made a connection with God and found my identity! The emptiness that was still present after my first two trips to rehab is finally full.
With the help of the amazing people at Lifeline and my family, I was able to overcome it all. The ladies prayed for me when I couldn’t pray for myself. When I had no hope, they had hope for me. Today, I use my past as my determination. I’m making the choice to stop the generational curse of addiction in my family.
